Oct 24, 2012 · a worn bearing will not likely cause the suspension to go out of alignment but the wheel bearing replacement process could. i don't know how they replace the wheel bearing at the dealership but i think they have to remove the outter tie rod from the spindle. if thats the case, it would require an alignment.
